Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office selects eSOPH for pre-employment background investigations of sworn and professional staff.

Oregon City, OR.  On Monday, April 13, 2015, representatives for the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office signed a 15-month license agreement to use eSOPH, Miller Mendel’s background investigation software system. The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office is recruiting to fill multiple vacancies. The sheriff’s office intends to process approximately 475 pre-employment background investigations within the 15-month period.

Before making a purchase a decision, the sheriff’s office participated in a trial period to evaluate eSOPH. During the trial period, sheriff’s office background investigators conducted several background investigations on applicants using eSOPH. Investigators and management personnel were able to see many benefits in using the system.

On behalf of the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, the eSOPH transition project was led by Senior Administrative Analyst Jenny Helms and Support Services Captain Wendi Babst.
