Coeur d’Alene, ID. On Tuesday, August 19, 2014, representatives for the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office completed a 12-month license agreement to use eSOPH, Miller Mendel’s background investigation software system. The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is recruiting to fill thirty-eight vacancies within the sheriff’s office.
On behalf of the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, the eSOPH transition project was led by Captain Lee Richardson, and Ms. Valerie Soumas from the sheriff’s office information technology department. As of Augist 19, 2014, the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is the first agency in the state of Idaho to transition its pre-employment background investigation process to eSOPH.
