Oakland, CA. On Monday, September 23, 2013, representatives of the Oakland Police Department signed a 12-month license agreement to use eSOPH, Miller Mendel’s background investigation software system. The Oakland Police Department intends to process at least 600 applicants within 12-months, using eSOPH.
On behalf of the Oakland Police Department, the eSOPH transition project was led by Recruiting and Backgrounds Manager Antone Hicks, and Sergeant Juan Sanchez. As of September 24, 2013, The Oakland Police Department is the first agency in the state of California to transition their background processing to eSOPH.
